Below are some of the details for the upcoming multi-gun match to be held at the SEIPS range on April 29th and April 30th.
The match is a two day event. It will be set up that you may shoot the entire match on either Saturday or Sunday or may shoot part of the match Saturday and the remainder Sunday. This is for a shooter that must leave before 1:00 or 2:00. You may also compete in two different classes (one class Sat. and a different one Sun).
Time: Registration: 8:00 AM Mandatory Safety meeting & stage walkthrough: 8:30 AM Match begins 9:00 AM Match continues until completed.
CLASSES: Open, Scoped tactical, Tactical Limited, Heavy Metal Scoped, and a new category of Pistol caliber carbine -Shotgun. (please refer to International Multigun Rules for specific classification)
Match Rules: will follow International multigun rules, except some enhanced penalties may be in place for some stages/targets
Equipment required: bipods in open class only, no slings required or allowed, all long guns must have chamber flags. Long gun bags or cases will be useful to transport long guns from
stage to stage as there is a shortage of long gun/rifle racks at our range.
Bring own water and food/snacks
Ammunition: Pistol 100 rounds Rifle 100 rounds Shotgun 100 rounds birdshot (nothing larger than 6 shot) NO BUCKSHOT Slugs 10
NO ARMOR PIERCING OR PENETRATING AMMUNITION ALLOWED (no SS109 OR GREEN TIPPED AMMO OR ANY AMMO THAT IS MAGNETIC)
Note: ammo counts are estimates only. The above is easily enough to shoot the match; but you made need more or much less depending on misses, extra shots, etc.
Cost: $15.00 per shooter per class/ or per day if shooting multiple classes.
This match will be using bays: 2, 3, 11, 12, 13 and the rifle range (one stage will use 2 bays) Total of 5 stages planned
Match setup: will start Thursday evening and continue Friday as well. Please do not use/change or disturb these bays.
Match teardown will begin upon completion of the match
